Kaminari: Evolution

Made with deviantART muro. Kaminari has gone through multiple designs throughout her creation, these being the different designs i came up with while perfecting her main look. They changed starting from the left, which was the original design, and went to the right, ending with the design that you guys should all recognize from the other pictures i have done of Kaminari. I'll use the English dub names for the seasons, but when i say that the anime was coming out, i'm actually referring to when it came out in Japanese.

Originally, she looked exactly like Gingka, although i never originally drew her like that. Yeah, apparently i wasn't too creative with my character design. At this point, she wasn't actually named Kaminari either, but went by her anime name of Pegasus only. If i remember correctly, she looked like Gingka all the way through Metal Masters, when i changed her design at the beginning of Metal Fury. Therefore, the first design was her look as both Storm and Galaxy Pegasus, as i used to have a weird theory where Storm Pegasus was just reborn as Galaxy Pegasus, an idea which i have since abandoned. This incarnation, if i can use that word here, of Kaminari acted a whole ton like Gingka, and she mostly kept that hyperactive personality through her next two designs.

Once the anime got into Metal Fury, i changed her look, although she still didn't get the name Kaminari. Throughout the time when Gingka was known to have Cosmic Pegasus, she looked like the second design in my mind, although i may have actually created this design after creating the third as her Shogun Steel look. 

The third, originally created to be the humanoid form of Cosmic Pegasus, was one of my favorites, and i have since partially copied her shirt for my self-insert. Once i found out about Samurai Pegasus, i changed one little thing in the design, which is not actually shown here, as i couldn't think of a way to draw the facebolt designs on their headbands. 

And finally, after Shogun Steel had ended in the Japanese, Kaminari finally gained her name, along with her ninja-style clothing, (which is more intimidating if you ask me), as well as a more serious, fiercer personality which still occasionally slips into the prankster type. 

All four incarnations have the blue wings and tail, but i was just too lazy to draw those in. (I mean seriously, that's eight wings we're talking about here, and two wings are tedious and difficult enough!)
